Our second webinar in the 'Exploring Energy Business Models' series sees James and Georgie using Orkestra's Business Model Builder to explore energy business models for advanced battery value stacks (combining BTM and FTM revenue), with tips and examples for integrating stakeholders, implementing shared revenue streams, and evaluating risks.

The webinar covers some fundamentals around advanced battery with BTM and FTM revenue value stacks, then runs through the process in Orkestra for designing these aggregation business models, specifically looking at two different examples:


  • Where a customer owns the battery and accepts the risks and rewards. The aggregator providing market access gets a revenue share of energy market revenues.

  • Where the aggregator owns the battery, charges the customer a Battery-as-a-Service fee but accepts all the risks and rewards of energy market revenues.
